The Hikvision DS-PD1-MC-WS is a surface-mounted magnetic contact with a flame-retardant ABS plastic casing, designed for wooden doors. It provides a Normally Closed (NC) alarm output, so the intrusion panel is alerted when the door is opened and the magnet moves away from the sensor. Its compact two-piece design suits interior doors in villas, apartments, offices, clinics and schools, as well as storerooms and archive rooms where opening events must be monitored. It works within -10 °C to 55 °C and is a simple, reliable building block for any wired alarm system.
