Overview of Hikvision DS-7716NXI-I4/S

The Hikvision DS-7716NXI-I4/S is a 1.5U network video recorder for up to 16 IP cameras, recording at up to 32 MP with H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression to save bandwidth and storage. Deep-learning analytics bring perimeter protection and facial recognition, and up to 8 IP speakers can be connected for audible deterrence. Cameras connect over the local network through an external PoE switch, giving flexible cabling for larger layouts. It offers 4 SATA interfaces (up to 16 TB each), plus eSATA, dual 4K HDMI outputs, 2 Gigabit network ports and 16/9 alarm in/out. A practical choice for compounds, offices, schools, warehouses and parking areas across Saudi Arabia.

How much recording storage will I need?

Prepare the number of cameras, desired retention period, recording schedule and proposed image settings. Ask for a storage estimate based on these inputs and an allowance for variation; a disk capacity alone does not guarantee a fixed number of days.
